Overview

• More than 48,000 undergraduates began classes today, including 29,000 through regulated admissions and nearly 20,000 who passed the entrance exam.
• Around 34,000 bachillerato students will join the university when their academic cycle opens on September 1.
• Total student population has climbed past 373,000, marking a 52 percent increase since the 2000–2001 academic year.
