Overview

• The agreement was formalized on August 3, 2025 by UNAM Rector Leonardo Lomelí Vanegas and Sorbonne President Nathalie Drach-Temam as the institutions’ first joint venture in humanities.
• Students will complete three semesters over two years, including a mobility stay in the third semester at the partner university.
• Curriculum recognition by both institutions ensures graduates receive master’s degrees from UNAM and the Sorbonne.
• Ongoing virtual collaboration across all three semesters will reinforce academic engagement beyond the in-person exchange.
• The program extends a decade of cooperation under the Mexico–Europe Academic Hub and deepens Mexico–France educational ties.
