Umpire Halts Play to Ask Fans Not to Pop Champagne Corks During Wimbledon Match

The announcement came after a fan uncorked a champagne bottle, disrupting the match between Anastasia Potapova and Mirra Andreeva.
Potapova, the 22nd seed, lost the match to 16-year-old Andreeva, who reached the fourth round of a Grand Slam for the first time.
Andreeva's fourth-round opponent will be Madison Keys, the 17th seed, who defeated Leylah Fernandez to advance.
Similar warnings about uncorking champagne during play have been issued at Wimbledon in the past, prompting a rule banning uncorked bottles in the stands.
