- City authorities report that electrical, water, sanitation and fiber connections at the National Garden are complete and the exterior assembly of 12 temporary structures rented from France’s GL Events Live has been finished.
- The 12 halls, installed with local subcontractors НБИК and LIRI групп, are slated to host plenaries, official negotiations, ministerial meetings, side events, media, exhibitions and participant services.
- Roads and parking construction are about 80 percent complete, the cycling path is roughly 98 percent finished, and landscaping work to move 100 trees and plant 4,500 more is still under way.
- Ulaanbaatar has set aside MNT 70.1 billion for COP17 preparations and will spend MNT 25.9 billion to rent the temporary facilities, a large municipal outlay for the event.
