Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) is claimed to have detonated four explosive devices on a train in the Bessolov Severomuyskiy tunnel in Buryatia, eastern Siberia, according to an anonymous Ukrainian defense source.
The rail line, which is a major connection between Russia and China, is allegedly used for military supplies.
Russian authorities have not officially declared this an attack or blamed Ukraine, instead referring to the incident as a 'cargo train fire'.
Train traffic has been rerouted with a slight increase in travel time, according to the Russian Railway.
