Ukrainian Refugee Tetiana Martynova Killed in Swansea Crash

Tetiana Martynova, a 40-year-old Ukrainian refugee, tragically lost her life in a collision in Swansea, leaving behind her 13-year-old son.

Tetiana Martynova, who fled Kharkiv, Ukraine, with her son due to the Russian invasion, was killed in a crash in Swansea.
Martynova was struck by a Chevrolet Captiva on Neath Road in Morriston at about 18:20 GMT on Wednesday.
Her hosts described her as a committed, intelligent, and hard-working individual, deeply involved in the Ukrainian community in Swansea.
Martynova's dream of returning to Ukraine this summer will not be realized, following her sudden death.
Wales Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage of the collision.
