Ukrainian Jewish Community Mourns Rabbi's Son Killed in Battle
Anton Samborskyi, son of Rabbi Moshe Azman, was laid to rest in Kyiv after dying on the front lines in Donbas.

- The Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine has assisted in the burial of 47 Jewish soldiers and estimates hundreds have been killed in the conflict.
- Samborskyi was drafted in May and sent to the front after a brief training period; he went missing in July and his body was recently recovered.
- The Jewish community in Ukraine continues to support soldiers and civilians, providing holiday meals and other aid to those on the front lines.
