Ukraine Security Service Kills Two FSB-Recruited Suspects in Operation After Colonel’s Murder

  • Chief Wassyl Maljuk said both suspects were recruited by Russia’s FSB to eliminate the senior intelligence officer.
  • Undercover investigations and surveillance led agents to a safe house in the Kyiv region where the alleged operatives were hiding.
  • Colonel Voronich, who spearheaded sabotage missions against Russian military infrastructure, was shot dead by five gunshots last Thursday.
  • Moscow has not issued any statement responding to Kyiv’s claims or the outcome of the counterintelligence raid.
