Overview
- Ukraine’s Air Force reported that as of 09:00 local time it shot down or jammed 139 Shahed, Gerbera and other UAVs from a total of 176 launched on the night of November 15–16.
- The overnight attack began around 18:00 on November 15 and included an Iskander-M ballistic missile fired from Russia’s Rostov region.
- According to the Air Force, drones were launched from Kursk, Orel, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as from Chauda in occupied Crimea.
- Ukrainian defenses responded with aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare, unmanned systems and mobile fire groups.
- Authorities reported 37 UCAV strikes on 14 locations and debris falls at two sites, while noting new groups of enemy UAVs were still in the airspace.
