Ukraine Reports 256 Clashes in a Day as Russia Concentrates Assault on Pokrovsk

Ukrainian commanders cite a surge in air strikes alongside mass drone use.

  • The General Staff said Russian forces carried out 102 assaults on the Pokrovsk axis on Nov. 14, with preliminary losses there estimated at 158 killed or wounded.
  • Ukrainian units reported destroying two armored vehicles, two trucks and six drones on the Pokrovsk sector, while striking a tank, three armored vehicles and 14 personnel shelters.
  • Across the front, the military recorded 1 missile strike, 28 air strikes, 20 rockets, 58 guided bombs, 3,263 one-way attack drones and 3,418 shellings during the day.
  • Defenders reported repelling 33 attacks on the Kostiantynivka direction, with additional fighting on the Lyman, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Oleksandrivka, Huliaipole and Orikhiv axes.
  • Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi previously identified Pokrovsk as the main focus of Russia’s offensive, following recent attempts to infiltrate the city’s southern outskirts using light vehicles.
