Ukraine Reports 139 Clashes in a Day as Russia Intensifies Drone and Air Strikes

Kherson authorities say nearly 2,300 drones targeted the region in a week with 81 percent neutralized.

  • Ukraine’s General Staff logged 33 Russian air strikes using 58 guided bombs alongside 1,822 kamikaze drone attacks and 3,022 artillery strikes over the latest 24 hours.
  • Fighting spanned multiple sectors, with Ukrainian forces reporting successful defenses on the North‑Slobozhansky, Kursk, Kupyansk, Lyman, Kramatorsk, Toretsk and Novopavlivka directions.
  • On the Pokrovsk axis, troops said they repelled 35 assaults and preliminarily counted 136 Russian personnel neutralized, including 70 killed, with two captured.
  • Ukrainian reports from Pokrovsk also cite destroyed or damaged Russian equipment, including vehicles, drones, a heavy flamethrower system and an artillery piece, along with several field shelters.
  • Kherson’s administration reported 2,276 FPV drone uses in a week and said electronic warfare measures destroyed or suppressed 1,850, while the 30th Marine Corps logged 477 shellings and 10 air strikes for Sept. 22–28.
