Ukraine Reports 126 Clashes With Heavy Fighting on Pokrovsk Front as Russia Claims 1,460 Ukrainian Losses

Each side issued official tallies describing high-tempo operations across several fronts.

  • Ukraine’s General Staff said 126 combat engagements occurred in the past day, including 50 on the Pokrovsk axis.
  • The Ukrainian update reported one missile strike using 29 missiles, 95 airstrikes involving 176 guided bombs, and 4,847 shelling attacks, including 106 from multiple launch rocket systems.
  • The same report said Russian forces deployed 6,530 kamikaze drones and that Ukrainian units struck four areas of troop and equipment concentration, an ammunition depot, an artillery system, and two UAV control points.
  • Russia’s Defense Ministry said Ukrainian forces lost roughly 1,460 personnel in the past 24 hours, including more than 480 on the Battlegroup Center sector and about 310 on the Battlegroup East sector.
  • Moscow’s update also cited strikes on energy and transport infrastructure, attacks on 140 locations including UAV warehouses, and the shootdown of 137 Ukrainian drones, with equipment losses listed such as M113 APCs and M777 howitzers.
