Ukraine Reports 121 Clashes as Russia Strikes Odesa and Pushes on Pokrovsk Axis

The government is using the surge in drone and air attacks to renew its call for additional air defenses.

  • Ukraine’s General Staff counted 121 engagements over the past day, with defenders halting 28 assaults on the Pokrovsk sector and heavy fighting also on the Kostiantynivka, Oleksandrivka and Huliaipole axes, while lines are held near Grabovske on the Sumy border.
  • Command data detail extensive aerial use by Russia, including 66 airstrikes, 172 guided aerial bombs, 5,804 loitering munitions and 3,614 shelling incidents in the previous 24 hours.
  • Overnight strikes hit Odesa-region port and industrial sites as Kernel reported a drone strike on the Illichivsk oil-and-fat plant that ruptured an edible-oil tank, causing a large fire and leakage; regional officials confirmed one dead and two injured.
  • Regional authorities reported civilian casualties across multiple oblasts, including one killed and 17 injured in Kharkiv and one killed and 10 injured in Chernihiv city after a drone hit a residential building.
