Ukraine Repels 56 Assaults Near Pokrovsk as Drone Strikes Surge

Kyiv is compressing delivery times through a new procurement marketplace to sustain defenses under heavy drone pressure.

Overview

  • Ukraine’s General Staff reported 176 engagements in the past 24 hours, including 56 assaults stopped on the Pokrovsk axis, plus 51 airstrikes and 5,531 kamikaze drones used by Russia.
  • Kherson regional authorities recorded nearly 2,300 FPV drone attacks over a week and said defenders neutralized 81 percent of them.
  • Through the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace, units have ordered nearly 17,000 drones and received almost 13,000, cutting average delivery to about 10 days with plans to scale across the armed forces.
  • The Defense Ministry says domestic output now covers roughly 40 percent of front-line needs, with kamikaze drones produced largely in-country, and it prioritizes additional Patriot systems and long-range missiles.
  • Deputy Defense Minister Ivan Havryliuk said Ukraine expects more F-16s, Mirages and Swedish Gripens with details undisclosed, first PURL-based U.S. equipment shipments have arrived despite slower timelines, NATO is still reviewing recent airspace incidents, and ISW notes Russia’s autumn draft of 135,000 with steps to ease conscription processes.
