Overview

• The General Staff recorded 188 combat engagements on Oct. 4 and reported 81 air strikes using 182 guided bombs plus 5,857 kamikaze drones.
• About one-third of the fighting occurred on the Pokrovsk axis, where Ukrainian forces said they repelled 60 assault attempts.
• Territorial Defense commander Ihor Plakhta said a counteroffensive in the district has liberated 180 square kilometers and cleared nearly 200 square kilometers of enemy sabotage groups.
• Plakhta warned that KAB guided bombs, artillery fire and drones are creating dense fire control that hampers logistics and evacuation.
