Ukraine Logs 187 Clashes and Confirms Kirishi Refinery Strike as Romania Protests Drone Incursion

Mass Russian use of kamikaze drones and cross-border incidents is prompting new allied warnings and diplomatic pressure.

  • Ukraine’s General Staff counted 187 engagements in the past 24 hours, reporting 79 airstrikes, 117 guided bombs, 4,945 artillery strikes and 6,337 kamikaze drones used by Russian forces.

  • Romania said an intruding Russian ‘Geran’ drone was tracked by F-16s for about 50 minutes before it returned to Ukraine; Bucharest summoned Russia’s ambassador as EU officials condemned the breach.
