Ukraine Logs 180 Battles in a Day as Fighting Concentrates on Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka and Huliaipil

  • The General Staff recorded 180 combat engagements on January 15, up from 161 in a late-night tally, with 97 airstrikes, two missile strikes, 6,968 kamikaze drones and 3,338 shellings reported.
  • More than half of the clashes occurred on three axes, with 46 assaults stopped near Pokrovsk, 21 near Kostiantynivka and 30 near Huliaipil, according to the morning update.
  • Ukrainian aviation, missile forces and artillery struck seven enemy concentration areas, two UAV control points and one additional key facility.
  • On the Pokrovsk direction, Ukraine reported 87 Russian personnel killed and 49 wounded, along with drones and vehicles destroyed, based on General Staff figures.
  • In the Sumy region, authorities reported over 40 strikes on 27 settlements in a day, leaving one person dead and 11 injured and damaging civilian infrastructure.
