Ukraine Logs 170 Battles as Forces Hit Russian Refineries and Counter Sabotage

Kyiv targets Russian sustainment as domestic security tightens.

  • The General Staff reported 170 combat engagements on November 10, with the heaviest fighting clustered on the Pokrovsk axis.
  • Ukrainian airborne forces said more than 300 Russian soldiers are inside Pokrovsk after infiltration in heavy fog, and defenders repelled 63 assaults in that sector over the last day.

  • Ukraine’s military said overnight strikes hit the Saratov oil refinery and a fuel terminal in occupied Feodosia, and later reported an attack on the Orsk refinery in Orenburg region, with explosions and fires observed and damage still being assessed.
  • The SBU reported arresting a suspected FSB agent planting a grenade trap in a Kharkiv park and detaining a GRU recruit preparing to bomb a trunk gas pipeline, while a GRU agent was sentenced to 15 years; Ukrenergo cited outages and rolling blackouts in Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa, and NABU detained five and notified seven of suspicion in a major energy-sector corruption case linked to Energoatom.
