Ukraine Logs 168 Clashes as Pokrovsk Bears Brunt and Overnight Strikes Hit Rail, Ports

The latest military update points to an intensified air-and-drone campaign that is targeting logistics hubs and pressuring frontline cities.

  • Ukraine’s General Staff reported 168 engagements in the past 24 hours, with 58 Russian assaults concentrated on the Pokrovsk sector and two dozen each on the Kostiantynivka and Oleksandrivka axes.
  • Vice Prime Minister Olexiy Kuleba said Russia hit railway and port infrastructure overnight, damaging a traction substation in Chernihiv region and port facilities in Odesa, with train reroutings and no reported casualties.
  • The General Staff counted two missile strikes using four missiles, 74 airstrikes with 165 guided bombs, and 5,482 kamikaze drones over the day; air defenses downed 38 drones overnight, but three ballistic missiles and 20 drones struck 12 locations.
  • Ukraine’s Air Assault Forces reported a Russian sabotage group infiltrated central Pokrovsk near the railway station and killed several civilians before Ukrainian units located and eliminated the group, with city defenses reinforced.
  • Kyiv updated Russia’s cumulative personnel losses to about 1,131,070 since February 2022, including 890 in the last day, and said Ukrainian forces hit multiple enemy troop and artillery sites.
