Overview

  • Brave1 officially launched the "Test in Ukraine" program on July 17–18 to let foreign arms companies test prototypes on active combat fronts.
  • Participating firms will ship new weapons to Ukraine and provide remote training before local troops evaluate performance and send back operational reports.
  • Kyiv has prioritized tests of air defense capabilities, drone interceptors, AI-guided systems, counter–gliding bomb solutions, unmanned maritime craft, electronic camouflage, advanced fire control and precision artillery guidance.
  • The initiative has drawn strong interest from overseas defense companies, but no participants have been named and operational and cost details are still being finalized.
  • Ukraine aims to use battlefield trials to accelerate adoption of effective technologies, boost its domestic arms industry and reinforce its forces against Russia’s sustained offensive.
