Ukraine Launches Flamingo, Bars and Liutyi Strikes on Crimea, Zaporizhzhia and Inside Russia

Kyiv says the operation used domestic long‑range weapons to reduce Russia’s ability to sustain its forces.

Overview

  • Ukrainian forces reported hitting several dozen targets in an overnight operation on Nov. 12–13 across occupied territories and Russian soil.
  • Strikes in Crimea hit the Sea Oil Terminal storage site, a helicopter parking area, UAV storage and launch points at Kirovske airfield, and an air-defense radar near Yevpatoriia.
  • In occupied Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine targeted an oil depot near Berdiansk and forward command posts of Russia’s 5th Guards Combined Arms Army and 127th Motor Rifle Division.
  • The General Staff said Flamingo, Bars, and Liutyi domestic systems were used alongside attack and loitering drones in combined strikes, with damage inside Russia still being assessed.
  • Local authorities in Russia’s Oryol reported explosions with no confirmed casualties, and the Flamingo maker Fire Point remains under an active NABU investigation that the company denies.
