Overview

• The hydrometeorological center projects light rain on Thursday across much of the country, with nighttime temperatures of 1–6°C and daytime highs of 5–10°C, rising to 12–17°C in the south and east.
• Ground-level frosts are expected on the nights of October 2–3 in western areas and in Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia regions, with 0–5°C on the soil surface and locally 0–3°C in the air in Prykarpattia.
• Wet snow is forecast in the high Carpathians on Thursday, where temperatures will range from +3°C to −2°C day and night.
• Winds on Thursday will be northeasterly at 5–10 m/s, after stronger easterlies on Wednesday that produced local gusts up to 15–20 m/s in parts of the country.
• Kyiv is set for cloud and light rain on Thursday with about 5°C at night and 7–9°C during the day.
