- Ukraine’s Air Force reported neutralizing 96 of 115 Russian strike drones launched on the night of Jan. 16–17, with impacts recorded at multiple sites as some UAVs penetrated defenses.
- Ukraine’s General Staff confirmed damage at the Atlant Aero facility in Taganrog, citing hits to the UAV final assembly shop, two production shops, and the administrative building.
- Kyiv said an ammunition depot of Russia’s 76th Airborne Assault Division in occupied Prymorsk was struck on Jan. 16 and that the strike reached its target, with the extent of damage under assessment.
