Ukraine Downs 611 of 643 Targets in Massive Night Air Assault

Despite high interceptions, strikes caused deaths with wide damage across Kyiv and other regions.

  • President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russia launched nearly 500 strike drones and more than 40 missiles, including Kinzhal, in an assault lasting over 12 hours that hit multiple regions.

  • Ground combat remained intense with 173 clashes in the past day, as Ukrainian forces reported stopping 59 assault attempts in the Pokrovsk sector and continued fighting on several other fronts.
