Kyiv cites fog-enabled infiltrations driving withdrawals.

  • Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that Russian troops overran three settlements in Zaporizhzhia and warned the situation there has significantly worsened, even as the fiercest combat remains focused on Pokrovsk.
  • Ukraine’s General Staff logged 217 combat engagements in the past 24 hours, including 76 in the Pokrovsk sector, and reported 3,965 kamikaze drones and 4,080 artillery and rocket attacks across the front.
  • The 7th Rapid Response Corps said more than 300 Russian troops are inside Pokrovsk after infiltrations under heavy fog, while Ukrainian forces continue urban clearing operations and report dozens of Russian casualties this month in the city.
  • Accounts diverge over gains near Pokrovsk and Kupiansk, with Ukraine saying it holds key approaches and maintains resupply to nearby Myrnohrad as Russia claims advances that have not been independently verified.
