Ukraine and U.S. Officials to Hold Peace Discussions in Saudi Arabia

President Zelenskyy and Secretary of State Rubio are set to meet in Jeddah to explore pathways for ending the Ukraine conflict.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed he will travel to Saudi Arabia on Monday for peace-focused talks regarding the Ukraine war.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio will also attend the discussions in Jeddah, which are scheduled to begin Monday and continue through Wednesday.
The meetings follow initial talks between Ukrainian and American negotiators in Saudi Arabia, which were described as satisfactory by both parties.
Both leaders are expected to meet Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, highlighting Saudi Arabia's growing role as a diplomatic hub for conflict resolution.
These discussions come shortly after tensions between Zelenskyy and U.S. President Donald Trump over suspended military aid to Ukraine.
