UK Train Drivers to Stage New Strikes in December

Train drivers in the UK, represented by the Aslef union, have announced a 'rolling programme' of strikes from 2nd to 8th December, with different train companies affected each day.
Drivers will also refuse to work any overtime from 1st to 9th December, potentially causing further disruptions.
The strikes are part of an 18-month long dispute over pay and conditions, with the union rejecting a pay offer made in April.

Separately, rail workers in the RMT union are voting on whether to accept a deal in their dispute over pay, job security and working conditions, with the vote closing on 30th November.
