UK to Experience Unseasonably Warm Weekend Before Temperatures Drop

This weekend, London and Manchester are expected to see highs of 16°C, while York may reach 17°C, making parts of the UK warmer than Barcelona and the Costa Del Sol.
The warm spell is attributed to southwest airflows, though not all regions will experience clear skies, as patchy rain is expected in parts of Wales and northern England on Friday.
A significant temperature drop is expected next week, with highs falling by up to 10°C and some areas potentially seeing flurries of snow, particularly in Scotland.
The Met Office has noted an increased likelihood of colder conditions later in March due to a weakening polar vortex, though the intensity of potential impacts remains uncertain.
