Investigators are pursuing a counterterrorism case under the UAPA.

Overview

  • The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office advises against all travel within 10 kilometres of the IndiaPakistan border and notes the Wagah–Attari crossing is closed.
  • The guidance advises against all travel to Jammu & Kashmir, with exceptions for air travel to and from the city of Jammu and movement within Jammu city.
  • All but essential travel to Manipur is discouraged as curfews and intermittent violence continue following ethnic clashes that began in 2023.
  • A slow-moving vehicle exploded near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station on Monday evening, causing multiple deaths and injuries and prompting a high alert in Delhi.
  • Authorities have shut the Red Fort to visitors from November 11 to 13, increased security checks in sensitive areas, and say they are examining all angles of the case.
