Overview

  • Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Boots have confirmed that all date and batch codes of Myprotein Gooey Filled Cookie Double Chocolate & Caramel are included in the recall.
  • The action covers both 75g single cookies and 12×75g boxes bearing best before dates from June 17, 2025, to July 16, 2026, identified by barcode 505610458721.
  • An ingredient supplier failed to disclose wheat protein used in the cookies, posing serious health risks for those with coeliac disease or wheat and gluten allergies.
  • The Food Standards Agency has advised affected customers to immediately stop consumption and return the products to any of the retailers for a full refund.
  • Manufacturer THG Nutrition Limited initiated the recall on May 23 and has informed allergy support organisations to alert their members about the ongoing safety notice.
