Overview
- The men's opening trio: Edinburgh–Carlisle on 2 July 2027, Keswick–Liverpool on 3 July with a waterfront sprint finish, then Welshpool–Cardiff on 4 July featuring several categorised climbs.
- The women's Grand Départ begins in Leeds on 30 July, continues Manchester–Sheffield over Snake Pass, then concludes its UK leg with a London stage on 1 August.
- Organisers confirmed this will be the first time both men's and women's Grand Départs are staged in the same country outside France.
- British Cycling will recruit more than 7,000 volunteers and launch the Joy programme to deliver community and legacy benefits.
- The UK Government has committed £32m for staging and legacy, with DCMS forecasting a £150m economic boost and organisers expecting at least 10 million spectators.
