  • A second wave of approvals adds 13 models from Renault, Nissan and Vauxhall for the £1,500 point-of-sale discount.
  • Manufacturers including Vauxhall, Suzuki, Volkswagen, Skoda, Cupra and Chinese brands such as MG and Leapmotor have launched grant-mirroring schemes offering £1,500 to £3,750 off sub-£37,000 EVs.
  • Suzuki’s ‘Suzuki Granted’ offer delivers the full £3,750 discount on its five-model e Vitara range plus a free home charger through December.
  • Grant eligibility depends on meeting low-carbon science-based targets at assembly plants and applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis as the DfT updates GOV.UK.
