Overview

• The Food Standards Agency has issued an urgent Food Alert For Action ordering the withdrawal and recall of all batch numbers and best-before dates for three Dubai-style chocolate bars.
• Noesis Shokolade Love of Dubai 95g, Fix it Dubai Kunafa Chocolate 50g and Le Damas Dubai Chocolate Kunafa and Pistachio 200g have been identified as the affected brands containing undeclared peanuts, almonds, cashews and walnuts.
• Authorities have been unable to contact Black Sea Trading Ltd, the UK supplier, complicating traceability and enforcement of the recall.
• Retailers must immediately halt sales and remove the affected bars from shelves; those that have already sold them must carry out product recalls.
• Consumers who have purchased any of these products are advised to dispose of them safely and report the purchase location to local Trading Standards in Great Britain or Environmental Health Officers in Northern Ireland.
