- Younger adults showed the highest adoption and trust, with 66% of those aged 25–34 trusting information from platforms like ChatGPT, Copilot or Google Gemini, while 45% of 18–24s said they trust social media influencers.
- Only 24% trust information on social platforms, with many seeing them as sources of misinformation (41%) and disinformation (31%), while 55% said news outlets are generally trusted and large shares report verifying and questioning news more often.
