UK Police Officer Charged with Terrorism Offenses for Supporting Hamas

Mohammed Adil, a West Yorkshire constable, faces charges for allegedly sharing pro-Hamas images via WhatsApp.

Mohammed Adil is charged with two counts of publishing images in support of Hamas, a group banned in the UK.
The charges stem from images shared on WhatsApp in October and November of the previous year.
Adil has been suspended from his duties at the West Yorkshire Police force.
He is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
The Independent Office for Police Conduct announced the charges following an investigation by counter-terrorism police.
