Overview
- The application window runs from August 5 to October 7, with interviews scheduled for March–April 2026 and results due mid-June 2026.
- Chevening Scholarships cover tuition, a monthly stipend, travel allowances, visa fees and event grants for a one-year master’s programme at any UK university.
- Fellowship programmes span 8–12 weeks at institutions such as Cranfield, Oxford and Westminster, specializing in cyber security, leadership, science & innovation and South Asia journalism.
- Eligibility requires Indian citizenship and a minimum of two years’ work experience gained after completing an undergraduate degree.
- Under the newly approved Atal Bihari Vajpayee-Chevening scheme, the Uttar Pradesh government and UK FCDO will co-fund five scholarships each year from 2025–26 through 2027–28.
