- On July 12, fifty-nine Labour MPs sent a public letter to Foreign Secretary David Lammy demanding immediate recognition of Palestine, warning that Israel’s plan to transfer Gaza civilians to Rafah amounted to ethnic cleansing.
- SNP Middle East spokesman Brendan O’Hara urged the government to stop arms sales to Israel and match other European states by recognising Palestine without delay.
