UK Military Dogs Equipped with New Protective Gear in £3.1m MoD Contract

The Ministry of Defence has partnered with Von Wolf K9 to enhance safety and training for over 500 working dogs across various military services.

The contract spans five years with an option to extend for two additional years, focusing on comprehensive canine welfare and training.
Von Wolf K9, a Surrey-based company, will develop a 'canine catalogue' featuring essential protective equipment like goggles, ear defenders, and cool vests.
The initiative aims to support military dogs serving in the Army, RAF, Ministry of Defence Police, and other services both in the UK and overseas.
Additional everyday items such as waste bags, bowls, leads, and agility equipment will also be supplied under the contract.
An additional job will be created at Von Wolf K9, which currently employs four staff, to support the contract's execution.
