UK Government to Ban Bonuses for Polluting Water Company Executives

Starting in the 2024/25 financial year, water company bosses responsible for illegal sewage spills will be prohibited from receiving bonuses.

Ofwat, the industry regulator, will consult on the criteria for blocking bonuses, focusing on serious pollution incidents and management failings.
