- British nationals remain eligible for 60-day visa-free stays extendable by 30 days but must meet new entry requirements.
- From May 1, 2025, all foreign visitors are required to complete and submit a digital arrival card online before reaching Thailand.
- Tourist visa applicants now must demonstrate access to at least 20,000 Thai baht via bank statements or sponsorship letters.
- Overstaying carries fines of 500 baht per day up to 20,000 baht, possible detention, deportation at one’s own expense and up to a 10-year re-entry ban.
