- England and Wales will observe bank holidays on 3 April (Good Friday), 6 April (Easter Monday), 4 May (Early May), 25 May (Spring), 31 August (Summer), 25 December (Christmas Day) and 28 December (Boxing Day substitute).
- Scotland’s dates are 3 April (Good Friday), 4 May (Early May), 25 May (Spring), 3 August (Summer), 30 November (St Andrew’s Day), 25 December (Christmas Day) and 28 December (Boxing Day substitute).
- Northern Ireland’s list includes 17 March (St Patrick’s Day), 3 April (Good Friday), 6 April (Easter Monday), 4 May (Early May), 25 May (Spring), 13 July (Battle of the Boyne substitute), 31 August (Summer), 25 December (Christmas Day) and 28 December (Boxing Day substitute).
- No additional one-off bank holiday is expected in 2026, despite major events such as the men’s World Cup and the Winter Olympics.
- The next bank holiday is 17 March for St Patrick’s Day in Northern Ireland, with the rest of the UK next off on Good Friday, 3 April.
