UK braces for severe weather with snow and rain warnings across the country

Scotland is under a yellow weather warning for rain until 9pm on Monday, with up to 170mm of rain possible, leading to potential flooding.
The severe weather conditions are due to a mix of cold air from the north and mild air attempting to move in from the south.
