UK Awards 43 U.S. Marshall Scholarships for 2026 Cohort

The awards fund up to three years of graduate study in Britain to deepen UK–US academic ties.

  • The 2026 class was chosen from 1,023 applicants, according to the official announcement from the UK government.
  • Recipients represent 31 universities in 22 states, with nearly a third from public institutions and two from U.S. military academies.
  • The University of San Diego and Oregon State University are represented for the first time in the program’s history.
  • Harvard produced five scholars this year, the most of any institution, including Kashish Bastola, Hannah Duane, Tenzin Gund-Morrow, Ashwin Sivakumar, and Edith Siyanbade.
