Overview
- On July 30, UIL signed the 2022–24 collective contract, raising total union representation from 81.95% to 82%.
- The agreement covers 6,160 executives and professionals in central ministries, fiscal agencies, non-economic public bodies, the Health Ministry and ENAC.
- It provides an average gross increase of €558 monthly over thirteen months and disburses approximately €9,400 in arrears through October 2025.
- Government ministers and ARAN leadership hailed the pact for closing the current bargaining round and paving the way for 2025–27 negotiations.
- CGIL remains the sole holdout, contending that the terms fail to compensate for inflation and leave key regulatory issues unresolved.
