Overview

• The revised fee schedule took effect on October 1, 2025, and runs through September 30, 2028, marking the first major change in nearly five years.

• UIDAI has waived charges for the first Mandatory Biometric Update from October 1 for one year, making required updates effectively free for children aged 5 to 17.
