UGC NET December Session Begins as NTA Issues Admit Cards for All Remaining Dates

Strict reporting windows with prohibited items checks will be enforced at CBT centres.

Overview

  • NTA has made admit cards for the remaining UGC NET December 2025 dates available at ugcnet.nta.nic.in, and candidates should download them using their application number and date of birth or password and verify all details.
  • The exam runs in CBT mode across 85 subjects on December 31 and January 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7, with two daily shifts from January 2 onward (9 am–12 pm and 3 pm–6 pm).
  • Candidates must report at least 90 minutes early, with last entry at 8:30 am for the morning shift and 2:00 pm for the afternoon shift, and no one may leave before the three-hour session ends.
  • A printed admit card and an original photo ID are mandatory, a simple transparent pen and water bottle are permitted, and electronic devices, bags, books and metallic jewellery are barred.
  • For the CSIR-UGC NET held on December 18, the provisional answer keys, question papers and recorded responses are live at csirnet.nta.nic.in with objections accepted until 11 pm on January 1 for Rs 200 per question, after which final keys will guide results for 2,12,552 candidates.
