Overview
- Candidates can apply at ugcnet.nta.nic.in from October 7 to November 7, 2025, up to 11:50 pm.
- An application correction window will run from November 10 to 12, 2025, until 11:50 pm.
- The test will be conducted in CBT mode across 85 subjects to determine eligibility for JRF, Assistant Professor roles and PhD admissions.
- Fees are set at ₹1,150 for General, ₹600 for General‑EWS/OBC‑NCL and ₹325 for SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender, payable online via cards, net banking or UPI.
- NTA will announce the exact exam schedule, city intimation slips and admit cards later; only one application per candidate is accepted and official help is available at 011‑40759000, 011‑69227700 and ugcnet@nta.ac.in.
