Overview
- Candidates must submit the form on ugcnet.nta.nic.in by 11:50 pm on November 7 (IST) to be considered for the December 2025 cycle.
- NTA reiterates that only forms with the prescribed fee paid and the confirmation page downloaded will be accepted, and no changes are allowed after fee payment.
- A short correction window will be available from November 10 to 12 for permitted edits to submitted details.
- The exam is scheduled in computer-based mode nationwide from December 31, 2025 to January 7, 2026 across 85 subjects.
- Fees are ₹1,150 for General, ₹600 for General-EWS/OBC-NCL, and ₹325 for SC/ST/PwD/third gender, payable online; exam-city slips will be issued at least 10 days before the test and admit-card details will be announced later.
