UFC Unification Bout Set: Volkanovski to Defend Featherweight Title Against Interim Champ Rodriguez

Reigning UFC featherweight champion Alex Volkanovski will face interim champion Yair Rodriguez in a title unification bout at UFC 290 on July 8 in Las Vegas.
Volkanovski has successfully defended his title four times while Rodriguez won the interim title in February.
This will be the first time the featherweight title has been unified since Conor McGregor held both belts in 2016.
UFC 290 will air live on pay-per-view from the T-Mobile Arena.
The winner of Volkanovski vs. Rodriguez will solidify themselves as the undisputed featherweight champion of the world.
