UFC Agrees to $375M Settlement in Antitrust Lawsuit with Former Fighters

The revised settlement addresses concerns from a judge who previously rejected a lower offer, and now awaits court approval.

  • The $375 million settlement pertains to the Le v. Zuffa case, which involves fighters who competed between December 2010 and June 2017.
  • The initial $335 million settlement was rejected by U.S. District Judge Richard Boulware in July due to concerns about fund distribution.
  • The revised settlement will be paid in installments and is expected to be tax deductible, according to UFC's parent company, TKO Group Holdings.
  • The Johnson v. Zuffa lawsuit, filed in 2021, remains pending and is at an early stage, with a motion to dismiss still under consideration.
  • If the court does not approve the new settlement, a trial date for the Le case has been set for February 3, 2025.
